Claim 10 of 22
Mindset: belief creates wealth
Can believing in wealth produce it?
Verdict
Not established
No study shows that belief causes wealth, and the one study of manifestation belief and money found it linked to bankruptcy and risk-taking in a correlation of unknown direction. The other research read concerns specific goals, positive expectations tied to effort, and reminders, which are about behaviour and leave wealth untested.
What it leaves open. Whether belief comes before the bankruptcy and risk-taking it travels with, or follows them, is the question the one money study could not answer.
